Minerva – patronka dobrej sztuki
Polish blogger sharing knowledge and passion towards art: history of art, classical masterpieces as well as modern creators.
Justyna Stasiek-Harabin is an art historian, journalist and a curator of the National Museum in Nowy Sącz.
Out of great love to the art 3 years ago Justyna decided to set up a blog about the things she loves and understands the most. She shows classical and modern art and helps her readers understand it and be sensitive about it. Her mission is to encourage people who think that they don’t understand art to try it and to explain them the basics.

Size of business
Passion and good (and free) education were her only support.
Opportunities and plans for the future
Justyna plans to broaden her activities to reach more audience. At the same she has no plans to change the subject and the demanding character of her articles.
Due to the fact that high art is a niche subject in Poland Justyna realizes that blog will never be her main source of income. However – she doesn’t mind it, she is passionate about her main job too.
Pitfalls and challenges
It took a while to make such a blog (with unpopular and ambicious theme) recognizable. It is still not popular like blogs about motherhood or lifestyle (and never will be) but this is probably the most popular blog about art in Poland.
Justyna didn’t have to struggle with financial wellbeing, because writing online and teaching people is only her side job. She makes a living being a redactor and a curator and the blog is only her passion (and mission).
